New exciting projects are popping up everywhere in the world and I was really fascinated by this one in Montpellier, France.

This new housing complex is part of the urban development project "Folie architecturale du 21eme siècle", as a tribute to the "Folie Montpelliéraines" which occurred in the 18th century. As the names suggests, this was a period of local architectural splendour and madness. Castle and extravagant homes started popping up along the city's peripheral.

In the same spirit, 12 new structures will be added to ton landscape of Montpellier.

Sou Fujimoto ArchitectsNicolas Laisné Associés and Manal Rachdi Oxo architects’ “White Tree" (L’Arbre Blanc)” is one of the winners of the “Architectural Folie of the 21st Century” competition.

The 17 storeys building is inspired by a natural shape, more specifically a tree trunks. The balconies look like leafs or branches spanning all around the core of the building.

The choice of colour is I think wise as it gives the structure serenity, purity and modernity.

The future tenants will not be restricted to a generic interior. They will be given an array of possibilities, with modular interior and a catalogue of choices.

Just like the exterior of the building, the free choice architecture of the interior embodies organic growth.

This project definitely make me day dream about my future apartment! What about you?

So I seem to really like body art!

Here is an other example of my fascination for this form of creativity.

All the incredible images you are about to see were accomplished by Jody Steel, a student that started doodle on herself for fun.
If this is what she does for fun, then I believe she's really talented!

Check out the details in these drawings.
It takes her only 45 minutes using Pilot pens or Sharpies to complete a piece

It has been more than 2 years, since the dramatic events of 22th July in Norway on the island of Utøya and in Oslo city centre. I remember very clearly how terrified I was for my family and friends in Oslo. I was abroad at the time and all I could do was worry and call.

This island looks like a heart to me

My thought went and still go to the families of the lives that were lost and affected.

After a closed competition, won by Swedish artist Jonas DahlbergNorway will cut through an island in tribute to massacre victims.

The artist is proposing a Memorial at Sørbråten and in Oslo, Norway.

This concept is both figurative and literal, as a deep cut (3.5 meters) will be made onto a piece of land.

A new disconnected island will appear , representing the brutal loss of lives.

This "wound" itself will be engraved with the names of the victims.

Soil, plants and trees from the cut will be brought to Oslo for the foundation of a open walkway memorial.

I believe this project is a great way of commemorating the events that shook and transformed Norway.

How cool are these paintings and wall arts?
Or are they what you think they are? Guess again!!!

I hope you are as amazed by these pictures of real people painted and photographed by artist Alexa Meade.
She manages to capture her subjects in such a 2D effect that it is almost impossible to think that these were achieved with a lens.

Her technique is new and exciting and uses both traditional and high-tech means of art.

See how the paint is dripping and spreading across the pool of MILK!

I love the effect it creates!

Check out the artist in question, it takes skill to paint on yourself!!
This is definitely a new take on the self portrait.

She really knows how to draw subjects into her world...
LITERALLY!

Check out this TED video if you want to learn more about Alexa Meade.
